Fundraising

The Trust’s Fundraising Committee’s  aim is to raise funds towards the provision of a direct access hostel in the City  for the homeless.  This is an ambitious project which the Trust is looking to provide in conjunction with other stakeholders.

The Trust is currently looking for additional members to join the Fundraising Committee and would like to hear from anyone who has innovative ideas for fundraising events and some time to spare to assist with them please get in touch with us.

Various fund raising events take place during the year including our Christmas Raffle.

Donations

The Trust endeavours to continue to provide additional services to those who find themselves homeless or going through the homelessness process and we are dependent on the generosity of the general public, local businesses and churches for donations to allow us to continue to do so.  Services assisted by donations are:

• Tthe Trust’s soial club, where we provide warm clothing, bedding, hot food, organised activities
• Provision of toiletries, sleeping bags, tents
• Life skills coaching
• Social skills development – provision of organised activities e.g. walking and fishing outings
